Feel as though I am being scammed.

I rang 131464 on Tuesday 2th February, was put through to a Sarah, I was requesting a new phone, as mine is playing up, she said according to new laws she had to have 100 points ID from me, told me to email them to A3001****@***.net.au, which I did. Sarah told me she would ring back as soon as she received it. I have nit heard from anyone, and am feeling my ID has been scammed, feeling sick. Please help me.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The issue was resolved after Southern Phone kept ignoring me. I just simply use a different supplier now.

I would like to pay my account but have not received a statement for two months. Ive called the call centre on 131464 twice to fix this, but still have no statement I just receive texts to say my account is over due and to pay immediately. There is no other way that I have found to contact Southern Phone other than through its call centre in India, that cannot help. Just waiting for the christmas period to finish and will gladly move to a different provider that has no call centre outside of Australia.

I contacted tech support for 12 weeks calling 3 or times each week on average. No solution to the issues with nbn connection and no accountability from any staff. It is not the staffs fault though as they do what they can in a very poor business module. The company executives could be an issue ? Steer clear

Landline not working again!!!

My landline is not working following a blackout last night. ACC178708 02 6886****. I have complained to Southern California Company & have been told that I may have my phone restored next week!!! I have no mobile reception & I am isolated without a phone. I have been without a phone over Christmas & I was unable to ring my family or friends.

I am elderly and am isolated without a phone. This problem has been going on for years now with sporadic return to service until rainy weather when the phone does again.

Really poor services

I simply want to port my phone number to Southern. My 2 kids have been with them for 10 years. 3 calls later I'm still not sorted. It routes to offshore (India) where they repeatedly ask the same questions. The second customer service officer said her southern email address wasn't working and asked me to send confidential private data (passport, drivers licence) to her PERSONAL email address, WTF? I'm still on hold now waiting to speak to onshore, just to get my identity confirmed so I can move port my number over. Time to contact to a new provider...

Home phone outage

phone has been out since before Easter...was reported and given a date of 20/4 to be fixed...Since then its been updated to 20/4..27/4..02/5..25/5 and after a phone call to them a new date was given as 30/6, another 3 weeks..It has been pointed out that we do not have mobile coverage where we are and need this phone for emergencies etc...Also we have difficulties understanding some people on these call centres...Read into that anyway you want...Very very poor service ...Dont know whether there are communication breakdowns between S.P or telstra as happened yrs ago when insider info came to me that Telstra hadnt received a job num. from them...

I ordered a transfer of 2 sims to southern and after about 4 business days received sims tried to transfer existing numbers to southern on 13th and have had NO Connection since and I have called every day, Today I was told that a person whome I sopke with yessterday DID NOT order replacement sims as promised with 24hr to 48hr delivery as I need mobile service to be able to use for medical support as I have cancer. Sims didn't work as they should have, the modem/extender didn't work, after a month of long phonecalls min of 2.5hrs a couple of times a week for 3 weeks nothing was resolved.

1 sim would not activate at all The other sim activated but I could not receive or make texts, so when I tried to get back on my old plan I couldn't receive a verification code to keep my number, so I had to change my number which is a business number, totally not what I wanted or needed to do! The extender that they use as a modem would not set up at all. All I wanted to do was bundle everything with the one company and make my life easier, all Southern phone has made things a lot more stressful, and in the end I've had to change my business number totally not appropriate!

Southern Phone - Worst Customer Service EVER
Absolute garbage company. If you try to transfer a deceased party's account into another name, it will transfer for a maximum of 8 months before it reverts to the original person's account, but they will continue charging you for the account until you try to cancel it, at which point you'll find out that you need to re-submit documents you already submitted in order to re-transfer the account into your name AGAIN. Use ANY other company. They all charge similar amounts.
