Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The issue was resolved after Southern Phone kept ignoring me. I just simply use a different supplier now.

phone has been out since before Easter...was reported and given a date of 20/4 to be fixed...Since then its been updated to 20/4..27/4..02/5..25/5 and after a phone call to them a new date was given as 30/6, another 3 weeks..It has been pointed out that we do not have mobile coverage where we are and need this phone for emergencies etc...Also we have difficulties understanding some people on these call centres...Read into that anyway you want...Very very poor service ...Dont know whether there are communication breakdowns between S.P or telstra as happened yrs ago when insider info came to me that Telstra hadnt received a job num. from them...

Sims didn't work as they should have, the modem/extender didn't work, after a month of long phonecalls min of 2.5hrs a couple of times a week for 3 weeks nothing was resolved.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Southern Phone was established in 2002 with support from the Commonwealth Government's Networking the Nation NTN program. The NTN program was established following the first stage of the sale of Telstra with the aim of improving telecommunications services in regional Australia. Southern Phone is an unlisted Public Company A.C.N. 100 901 184 and only local councils can be shareholders. This means all profits are returned to the community through the councils. Because it is a local government-owned enterprise, Southern Phone is a State/Territory Body STB pursuant to Section 24AM of the ITAA 1936. No individuals may own shares in the Company. Southern Phone is a regional company. The headquarters and principal place of Southern Phone is in the regional centre of Moruya in the Eurobodalla Shire on the NSW south coast.
