Southern Phone - Prior to NBN no problem with them, but since having to change to NBN because we have no choice, nothing but problems .. constant drop outs etc., lied to by staff and no staff call backs in response
Goes back to when I was contacted by a staff member about Southern Phone phasing out 3G mobile and going to 4G mobile and he carried on about 'saving me money' (as did other staff members when I rang) (my mobile is only for emergencies only and I am a pensioner and mobile is not affordable in a lot of ways eg. Southern Phone don't have unlimited free calls to out of area or NZ free of charge) ..
landline is my lifeline and main contact number) and the staff member who contacted me about Southern Phone changing from 3G to 4G took me off landline/broadband plan unknown to me and not my request and I only discovered this when I got my phone account. I was furious and I was also charged for a change of plan fee for something I never asked to be done. When I rang Southern Phone and asked to speak with the staff member to try and get it sorted out, he never contacted me, so started to wonder whether he even got my message to contact me to discuss it. As far as I am concerned they are just a pack of liars.
When a friend asked me a few months ago who I was with, I told her, and about my experiences since the change to NBN which is totally unreliable, I told her to have nothing to do with Southern Phone.
