Southern Phone - Changing from ADSL to NBN
Had a terrible experience with Southern Phone when changing from ADSL to NBN. Depending on who you talk to you either get the NBN compatible modem before you switch or after you switch.
The correct answer is you get the modem after you switch and you have to wait at least a week before you can connect to NBN. Abysmal service and absolutely no sympathy from them. We were without internet for a week and when we rang to complain about not being able to do any banking they just said that's what has to happen.
Then they cut off our home phone and transferred it to a new number with no warning, then the temporary number they provided was wrong. When our contract is up we will NOT be renewing with Southern Phone
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $99.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
